ONLINE SAFETY TIPS, REAL TALK AND EXPERT ADVICE
Tikipunga High School is proud to host Rob Cope - a leading voice in online safety, author, and filmmaker - for a powerful, straight-talking and often humorous in-person presentation.
Rob’s kōrero dives into the reality of what harmful content our tamariki and rangatahi are exposed to online - and what we, as whānau, can do to help keep them safe.
Open to all parents, caregivers and whānau from any school across the Whangārei community. Light refreshments will be available.
This is an ADULT-ONLY event. However, I Have a Dream Navigators will be providing FREE childcare on the night at the school for children 5 YEARS & OVER to ensure as many parents as possible can attend.
Register for childcare when you purchase your ticket.
All attendees will receive FREE 12 months access to Parenting in an Online World 101 - a comprehensive online cyber safety parenting course (usually $99 per family).
“We're the first generation of parents who are having to deal with this issue, and we didn't realise how bad it was and how out of control it's become," – Rob Cope
This event will be held in the Tikipunga High School Waimirirangi (Auditorium) - located behind Tauira the Whare Wananga.
