Pōhutukawa Coast Community Planting

Whangarei District Council's Pōhutukawa Coast Programme is celebrating 100,000 plants given away this year! 🌱🪴🌿

To mark the milestone, we are holding a community planting, adding more native plants to our city.

We will be planting out the bank on Tauroa Street, Raumanga just opposite Bunnings Warehouse and Smeatons Drive.

🧑‍🌾 Come and plant some trees to support this awesome programme!

What to bring:
- Covered shoes or gumboots
- Spade
- Gloves optional
- Water to stay hydrated
