An Invite from the Bream Bay Guardians Society

The Bream Bay Guardians Society warmly invites you to attend a local, and free, screening of Sir David Attenborough documentary ‘Ocean’
‘Ocean’ showcases the wonder of life under the seas and exposes the realities and challenges facing our ocean as never-before-seen, from destructive fishing techniques to mass coral reef bleaching.
Yet the story is one of optimism, with Attenborough pointing to inspirational stories from around the world to show that the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen.
Numbers are limited so please highlight and select the link below to reserve your seats. Bring your whanau, your Tamariki…and encourage your friends, neighbours and colleagues to also join us:

After the documentary screening, The Bream Bay Guardians Society (BBGS) will take a short opportunity to brief you on McCallum Brothers Limited (MBL) proposal to dredge 8.45 million cubic metres of sand from Bream Bay over the next 35 years …and the BBGS commitment to oppose the proposal.
Please contact Mary Sinclair (bWFyeXNpIHwgeHRyYSAhIGNvICEgbno=) or Brenda Loewenberg (YnJlbmRhIHwgbm9tYWQ4ICEgY29t) if you require further information.
