WOW Youth Musical Theatre returns to Weymouth Pavilion this November with The WOW Show — a dazzling celebration of musical theatre that promises something for everyone. Bursting with energy and talent, the production features unforgettable numbers from Mamma Mia!, Mean Girls, Wicked, Annie, Fame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Come From Away.
The cast features some of Dorset’s most talented young performers, including one who has just returned to the WOW ensemble after appearing in the West End production of Mrs Doubtfire. WOW's alumni continue to make their mark professionally, with three former members still performing in West End musicals, including Mamma Mia! and Wicked.
Following the triumph of WOW's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the award-winning creative team returns: acclaimed director and choreographer Martine Burt, alongside musical director Jessamy Bowditch. Together, they bring professional quality and creative flair to every production. WOW has received multiple accolades from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), with Martine's productions earning NODA South West awards for Best Compilation, Best Youth Production, and Best Movement & Dance in 2013, 2022 and 2024.
