PLEASE NOTE: Nothe Fort Museum will not be open to the public - only for those interested in learning more about the Nothe Fort Garrison. Access to the Parade Ground only.
The garrison consists of:
7th company 1st Dorset Artillery Volunteers
Join the Artillery to help fire the big artillery guns of the period
26th Royal Engineers
Be part of the living history display, Blacksmith, carpenters, medical staff and lots more.
1st Dorsetshire Regiment 1880s
Be apart of Dorset line infantry 1880s firing displays.
We’re also on the look out for people to join the groups Military band.
And if uniforms isn’t your thing but would like to help behind the scenes is always welcomed.
