Our annual summer night out in Weymouth, is one of the highlights of the West Dorset CAMRA social calendar. To make it even more special, it comes with two added extras this year.
Do you have a friend that likes real ale or cider, but has never quite got round to joining CAMRA? If so, then Thursday 31st July could be the night! Our branch chair will be in the Doghouse Micro pub between 18.00 & 20.00 offering anyone that joins CAMRA that night a "FREE OCTOBERFEST" ticket to a session of their choosing, which includes souvenir glass, beer menu programme and a pint of either real ale or cider.
From 7:30 onwards, the evening will be moving on to The Globe, Market House, Black Dog, William Henry and finishing off at the Dolphin. Please call Rich Gabe on the night on 07771 903868 if you are joining in later.
Tickets for Weymouth Octoberfest don't officially go on sale until 7am on Friday 1st August, but by coming along the night before you will be able to buy your tickets a day early, and be sure of getting the ones you want. The festival will feature what we believe to be the largest selection of beers and ciders from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire ever seen at a festival in Dorset, and demand for tickets is expected to be exceptionally high this year.
As you can see from the picture above, we had a really good turnout last year. With over 200 members in the Weymouth area, it would be great to see even more of you this year - and don't forget to bring a non-member friend (or two!) along to take advantage of this great offer.
