Members may be aware that Brooklands are not holding a French Day this year and this was an event that Club Alpine Renault had attended in past years. Renault Classic Car Club (R.C.C.C.) also attended this, so as an alternative for 2025 they will be attending the above event instead and they have invited C.A.R. members to join them on a joint club stand along the lines of the joint stand we have at the French Day at Beaulieu.
At the Summer Classic Gathering and Autojumble there will be judging as well and all vehicles will be judged in one of the following categories: Pre-1995, Classic Moderns (1981-1994), Baby Boomers (1946-1980), Pre-War (up to 1945) and Motorcycles. There will be a Brooklands Award in each category for the best presented vehicles, as well as a special Club Stand award and Overall Vehicle of the Show.
There is also the Autojumble that with have stalls offering all manner of goods from the traditional Autojumble through to high quality gifts with a retro or vintage theme, there will also be music and entertainment in the Paddock as well.
Admission includes access to the whole of Brooklands Museum for the day running from 10.00am until 5.00pm. Pre booked Clubs can access the site from 9.00am, access is via the Campbell Gate entrance off Brooklands Road, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0QN or
