Seasonal Yoga Class

Join this welcoming weekly class at Bagnall Village Hall every Wednesday.

Accessible for all abilities, beginners to intermediate levels catered for.

Seasonal yoga is a mix of restorative and vinyasa yoga, moving with the seasons, where the yoga changes depending on the time of year.

During winter we stay grounded with restorative yoga, slow and meditative, spring we start to rise from the earth and build on the increasing energy and start to detoxify the body. As summer comes we spread our wings and flow with the high energy to build heat in our bodies. As autumn comes, it’s the season of letting go, returning to the earth and rebalancing our bodies and minds, readying ourselves for the winter months by boosting the immune system.

I weave in to each class the teachings of yoga, talking about chakras, yoga philosophy and the elements. It’s all part of a yoga practice to have an understanding of all the elements of yoga.

We finish with a lovely relaxation and meditation to rest and consolidate what our minds and body’s have achieved.
