Saturday Rides in May: Old Wethersfield to Putnam Bridge to Wethersfield Triangle
Join us for an easy morning ride of about 5 miles exploring the Putnam Bridge Trail and the Wethersfield Triangle (on the EAST side of the CT River, between East Harford and Glastonbury). We’ll start in Old Wethersfield, take the Putnam Bridge Trail over the CT River, then north along the South Meadows Trail in Glastonbury to a part of Wethersfield known as “The Wethersfield Triangle”.
These 4 Saturday rides as part of our celebration of Wethersfield's Bicycle Friendly Community Bronze Award. Note: no Saturday ride May 24th. See also the “Mondays in the Meadows” series for a different route on Mondays riding through the Great Meadows of Wethersfield on the west side of the CT River.
During all of May, Main Street in Old Wethersfield will be lined with decorated bicycles participating in the 5th annual “Bicycles On Main”. Come early or stay after for coffee, breakfast, a museum or a walk around Old Wethersfield! For more walking and bicycling routes, do a web search for Bike or Walk Wethersfield
