About the event

Winter Tracks & Traces

Over the course of the day groups will participate in two sessions out on the land, with each session focused on a different winter experience.

Participants can expect to go on a guided hike following tracks and traces in the forest where in addition to looking for tracks, we’ll listen for birds, feel the wind on our skin, and explore the wintry landscape with all our senses.

You’ll also get a chance to join at the campfire to build your winter skills roasting apples, learning about fire making, and having an opportunity to walk with snowshoes in the deep snow.
