For more than a decade, What’s Up in Weston has been the community’s trusted guide to events, businesses, and local stories. On Thursday, October 9, 2025, we invite you to Happy Endings Bookshop for a celebration that unveils a fresh new look for the brand — and honors the stories that make Weston unique.
This evening blends literature, legacy, design, and local flavor into one unforgettable experience:
• Literature & Community: The evening we also launch What’s Up in Weston’s Book Club, giving readers a chance to gather around stories.
• Legacy: We’ll pay tribute to Lynn Searcy, who has guided What’s Up in Weston since 2011, recognizing her dedication to keeping the community connected for more than 14 years.
• Design: Guests will meet the creative mind behind What’s Up in Weston’s refreshed branding — a designer known for both graphic design and romance novel cover art — and see how our new look reflects Weston’s charm and character.
• Local Flavor: Included with every ticket is a curated tasting experience featuring Green Dirt Farm cheeses paired with drinks included.
