No Barriers Here - Workshop 4

Join us for free workshops where we will use art materials to think about how we want our life, care and death to be in the future. Over two days, we will explore what is important to us an individuals and how this impacts in different health and social care settings. We want to help you create a personalised Advance Care Plan.

Traditionally, advance care planning has taken place in a clinical environment involving conversations between people, clinicians and family members, resulting in a completed document that is regularly reviewed.

Our workshops enable people to be involved in early decision making, moving away from a medicalised environment and the barriers that ‘form filling’ and healthcare systems often create.
No Barriers Here© enables you to think about, share and express through artmaking what you consider important in your life and what matters most at the end of life.

The workshops are suitable for adults of any age, whether you have an illness/disability or not. The art creations and conversations will be continued across two days, so it’s beneficial for you to attend both dates of the workshop.

Refreshments will be provided and booking is essential as places are limited.
