POPsicle - Live Drawing

This live drawing event is taking place in collaboration with Phoenix books outside on Sherbrooke Street, featuring artists from the Centre for the Arts in Human Development (CAHD) community, a creative art therapies clinical and research centre serving neurodivergent adults. The artists will invite passerbys to become subjects of portrait drawings.

One of our goals at Notre-Dame-des-Arts is to provide youth and emerging artists with mentorship opportunities. This year, NDG Arts Week will host a series of Pop-ups called "POPsicles," with a focus on showcasing art from community members. These participants will showcase their talent in pop-ups that will take place in unusual or unexpected locations throughout the neighbourhood. Many participants, as part of the program, received mentorship from professional artists leading up to their pop-up event.
