We will have two BOOK CONVERSATIONS about the Spring Carroll Next Chapter book: Flamboyants: The Queer Harlem Renaissance I Wish I’d Known by George M. Johnson. The book is a spectacularly well-illustrated collection of essays about queer Black people who made a difference in the 1920’s renaissance and beyond.

The book is available at Rudolph Girls and through other booksellers.

BOOK CONVERSATION DATES: Saturday, May 31 from 10:00am to noon in the first floor Chapel, and Sunday, June 1 after the Congregational Meeting, from 12:30-2:30pm in Fellowship Hall.
