Hightrail’s journey began when its members, hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Antwerp and a shared love for the sonic cosmos, came together to create an aural universe. Their compositions are a testament to the power of instrumental music, evoking a wide palette of feelings and stories that range from ethereal, dreamlike melodies to powerful, earth-shaking grooves without the need for words. Unearthly soundscapes and melodies seamlessly lend Hightrail to cinematic experiences., taking listeners on their journey through music.
°° WALFANG (BE) °°
Walfang is a Belgian band that refuses to be confined by musical boundaries. Combining noise rock, post-punk, and experimental grunge, they explore themes of apathy, self-destruction, and existential dread without losing sight of hope. Their uncompromising artistic vision is reflected not only in their music but also in their self-produced videos and artwork. On November 8, 2024, they released their latest album, Trigger The Short-Fused, via Barley Records—a record that balances introspection with explosive energy.
°° TANKZILLA (NL) °°
TankZilla is a two-headed beast consisting of Peter van Elderen (guitar and vocals) and Marcin Hurkmans (drums), known for their heavy, fuzz-laden stoner rock sound. They describe their music as a "stoner blues swamp boogie". Emerging from Eindhoven, they formed from the ashes of their previous bands and quickly gained traction, playing at prestigious events like Roadburn Festival.
Allegedly the band are the product of a frisky encounter between Satan and a Panzer tank, so you better strap yourself in for one boogie-laden, octave pedal-driven thrill ride from start to finish.
