EEN ODE AAN HET LEVEN, LEUVEN EN DE MUZIEK

Op vrijdag 22 en 23 augustus keert Marktrock terug naar Leuven.

Na jaren van stilte keert het legendarische Marktrock in augustus 2025 terug naar hartje Leuven. Opgericht in 1982 door Jokke Kerkhofs en de vzw, werd Marktrock een baanbreker voor Belgische stadsfestivals en trok het muziekliefhebbers van over het hele land aan.

Nu, 20 jaar nadat haar papa gestorven is, brengt Kat Kerkhofs haar passie voor muziek en haar roots samen om het festival nieuw leven in te blazen.
