Stained Glass Birds with Jena DelCid

We are thrilled to welcome back Worcester artist Jena DelCid for a new stained glass workshop! With her unique style and relatable approach, Jena will take you through all the steps of the popular copper foil technique of stained glass (also known as the “Tiffany” method).

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn to cut a pattern, score and break the glass components. Then, you’ll wrap the edges of the glass with copper foil tape, and join the pieces together with solder.

Come ready to have fun and leave with a one-of-a-kind stained glass songbird, perfect for a sunny window or a screened porch wall.

This is a beginner workshop and no experience is necessary, but even those who have taken a stained glass class will enjoy working with Jena. This class involves handling sharp glass and hot solder and is open to students aged 16 and older.
