The presentation will have a brief history of the origins of the Westborough Fire Department, including the first station on West Main Street at the old Town Hall. There will be images of different fires from the 1880s to 1947, including pictures of some early fire engines and the opening of the station on Milk Street in 1888. The Straw Shop fire, the Hat Shop fire and The Whitney House fire will be included along with several others. Images will be from original glass negatives, period photo postcards and newspaper photos.
