Join us at Old Faithful Inn as we celebrate Christmas in August.
The custom of celebrating Christmas on August 25th is rooted in traditions dating back to the 1930s. It began as a chance to celebrate the ties of friendship that formed between employees during the summer seasons. Today, it’s a chance to share the warmth of Christmas with friends and guests from whom we are long separated on December 25th.
The Old Faithful Inn will be decorated for Christmas, so come and enjoy an afternoon of activities from 3 to 7pm.
• Sign a vintage postcard to Old Faithful Inn.
• Ornament making and crafts in the lobby.
• Find our elves for a unique summer selfie.
• Snacks and treats in the lobby.
• Bozeman Spirits Distillery tasting.
• Free books for children. (while supplies last)
• Local orchestra playing Christmas carols.
Santa arrives on the Historic Yellow Bus at 5 pm and will read Christmas stories.
