GUEST SPEAKER: Kirsten Kay & Tiarn Zanardo - AHW

Kirsten is an Exercise Physiologist and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Coordinator in Wodonga at Albury Wodonga Health. She has been working in the cardiac rehab team at AWH for the past 14 years and prior at Caulfield Hospital.

Tiarn is a clinical Nurse specialist who works as a part of the Cardiac rehabilitation team at Albury Wodonga Health. She has worked in Cardiac Rehabilitation for 5 years and prior to that worked in ED and ICU.

Heart Health & Stroke Prevention

Our session will be about recognising a heart event and a stroke, what to do if you are having an event, where to seek help, ways to prevent a heart attack/disease and stroke.

We hope you learn what your risk factors are and how you can make positive lifestyle changes to lower your risk. Most heart attacks and strokes can be prevented with healthy choices.
