If a space could feel like a warm, loving hug, it has to be Woodgreen Hall in the New Forest. With it’s wooden floor and historic murals, surrounded by green space, I’m drawn back to this venue year after year. Join myself and the wonderful Rachel Wilkinson @raw_yogi for ‘Deep Winter Reset’, Saturday 24th January, 10am-4pm.
January is not the time to go full pelt into the New Year. Energetically natures shows us it’s still a time of hunkering down. We’re just past deep hibernation but remain in a liminal sleepy space. Mid-Winter is a time to listen inwards, to dream and begin to reflect on how we wish to re-emerge into Spring.
This full day retreat includes ceremonial grade cacao and welcome circle, a morning of extended flow yoga practice, guided meditation and journaling, plant based lunch and dessert made with love by @karahaywardveganchef , a Yin Yoga practice focusing on the kidneys and bladder to give an immune boost, Yoga Nidra and sound bowls with Rachel.
Herbal teas are available throughout the day, there’ll be time to explore the area over lunch and you’ll take home a carefully considered, plastic free gift bag.
