Father's Day Market at Killdeer Farms

In June, The Market at Killdeer Farms packs double the celebration: It’s Father’s Day weekend AND the annual lavender harvest! Dads (and everyone else) will relish our most fragrant Saturday market of the year. Gather your favorite people, bring your shopping basket, and enjoy all the farm has to offer.

In addition to farm-grown flowers, you can stock up on local beef and pork from Bar BR Cattle Co. for Dad's barbecue, plus the freshest catch from Ferrari Fisheries. Don’t miss out — Rancher Ryan is bringing along a mama and baby cow so the kids can look and learn. He even says we can feed them special cow cookies!

On top of all that cuteness, the market will feature raw, local honey from Golden Honeybees and farm-fresh chicken and duck eggs from Delta Tails on Ryer Island. (This will be the perfect opportunity to sign up for an egg subscription. We get ours bi-weekly in the mailbox.) Enjoy live music by a spirited band of Sacramento Rotary Roadies, chats with the Master Gardeners, and coffee and bites from Lenise’s Cafe. And did I mention ALL. THE. LAVENDER? (Like, all of it.)
