Roots and Wings of the Black Belt Prairie featuring Bob Brzuszek and Joe MacGown

The Black Prairie Blues Museum located in downtown West Point, MS is hosting an exhibition with the theme of Black Belt Prairie flora and fauna featuring works by Joe MacGown and Bob Brzuszek. The show opens on Sunday, August 24 at 1 pm and will be up for several weeks. There will be a blues jam beginning at 2 pm on the opening date.

Both Bob and Joe are retirees from MSU, with Bob having been a landscape architect professor and Joe an entomologist/scientific illustrator. Their backgrounds included various studies and work in Black Belt Prairies. Both are active in the local art community and we hope that you can attend the opening to experience and purchase their artwork, which in turn will also help support the museum.
