"品茶论道" can be explained in English as "savoring tea and discussing the Dao (or the Way)." This phrase encapsulates a traditional Chinese cultural practice where individuals gather to enjoy tea while engaging in deep, philosophical conversations about life, morality, and the principles of the Dao. It reflects a harmonious blend of sensory pleasure and intellectual exchange, emphasizing the importance of mindfulness, reflection, and the pursuit of wisdom in everyday life.

Classes will commence on June 25th and take place every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM, concluding on August 13th. Each workshop lasts 1.5 hours and is designed to immerse you in a mindful, interactive learning environment. At the beginning of each class, we start brewing tea, do tea mindfulness, and end with tasting tea and a short Qi Gong practice after the class.

Participants will have the option to attend either online or in-person workshops held at our beautiful, tranquil tea house in West Palm Beach. To enhance your experience, each registrant will receive a starter kit that includes a selection of ten tea samples and a Gongfu brewing teapot. This hands-on tea-tasting and brewing experience allows you to engage deeply with the flavors and rituals associated with each course.

Our Philosopher Bio:

Benjamin Giaimo 笨笨， known in China as the foreign disciple of Confucius, is a world-renowned teacher of Chinese language, literature and philosophy. He speaks five different Asian languages and received his Ph.D. in Ancient Chinese philosophy from the Renmin University of China. He is a master of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism along with Ancient Chinese Characters and traditional Chinese culture. Benjamin has given more than 100 lectures on traditional Chinese culture and philosophy at universities in both China and the U.S. He has also translated many Chinese Confucian, Buddhist and Daoist classics, poetry, and other traditional Chinese texts into authentic American English. His greatest wish is to promote world harmony through the teaching of Chinese culture and wisdom.
