Be a Part of a Unique Community Art Installation! Over 200 collages have already been created by people in West Palm Beach, FL; Alexandria, VA; and Asheville, NC—and now it’s your turn to join the movement.
We invite you to a Collective Collage Art & Tea Gathering led by Mad.E, artist and curator, and Alissa Zemering, Creative Arts Therapist.
You’ll be working with a rich archive: a full collection of National Geographic magazines from 1982–2016, discovered by Mad.E on the side of the road in her hometown of Vienna, VA, seven years ago. What began as a spontaneous rescue has grown into an expansive art initiative with a big vision—to create 10,000 collages that will come together as a powerful, large-scale installation honoring collective creativity and personal expression.

– Create your own collage for the installation
– Make a mini collage to take home as a keepsake
– Enjoy herbal tea and light snacks
– Connect with others or enjoy quiet reflection
– Begin with a brief guided meditation to ground and inspire
Whether you’re an artist or simply curious, this is a space for slowing down, reconnecting with your creative self, and becoming part of something meaningful.

Please be on time or plan to arrive early. Our door will be locked 10 minutes after the event time. Our door is right next to the Pumphouse Cafe. Please look for a glass door with " the studio 1016".
