Join us at the Bobbin & Brush Studio for Start a Sketchbook, a relaxed and inspiring 1- or 2-day art workshop where you'll explore a range of mediums and styles—all fully guided and perfect for beginners or those wanting to refresh their creativity.
The class runs from 10am to 2pm on both days with a discount available for those booking both dates.
Day 1 / Monday 25th August:
Kicks off with playful watercolour and pen illustrations, helping you loosen up and build confidence with colour and line. You'll then move into a vibrant oil pastel study, learning how to layer and blend for bold, expressive results.
Day 2 / Tuesday 26th August:
Dives into gouache with a calming floral painting, followed by an acrylic landscape to develop your observation and brushwork skills.
Depending on the pace of the class, if time allows, there will be a chance to work on additional studies.
All materials are provided—including a high-quality L'Oeil sketchbook worth £15.00 to fill with your artwork—as well as plenty of tea, coffee, and cake to keep you fuelled. With small class sizes and 4 hours of hands-on guidance, you'll receive plenty of support and leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and the beginnings of a beautiful personal sketchbook.
