Wire Wrapping & Weaving Crystal Workshop
Course Description
Enjoy an informal and inspiring evening of creative wire working and weaving in beautiful Scotland. This workshop is a wonderful introduction to making elegant jewellery—without the need for soldering, adhesives, or expensive equipment.
With step-by-step guidance from your tutor, you’ll learn practical techniques for wrapping, twisting, and basic weaving to create stylish and unique jewellery shapes.
You’ll begin by practising a range of techniques using copper wire, including:
• How to manipulate and shape wire confidently
• Selecting the right wire gauge and size
• Creating loops, eye pins, and jump rings
• Using essential wire-working tools
• An introduction to simple wire weaving techniques
No previous experience is needed. Anyone can learn these ancient and intuitive jewellery-making methods—some of the earliest examples of wire jewellery date back to the tombs of Egyptian pharaohs!

Materials Provided
All copper wire, crystal cabochons, and glass beads are included for practice and projects.

What You’ll Learn
You’ll discover how to:
• Incorporate semi-precious stones using different wrapping styles
• Twist and interlock wire to form stunning statement pieces
• Measure, bend, and shape wire around your chosen stones
After learning the basics, you’ll complete 2–3 projects throughout the day and take home your finished jewellery pieces.

Workshop is £65 and you can either pay in full upon booking or pay £30 deposit with the remainder due on the day.
