Far From The Madding Crowd Bookshop in collaboration with Wee Whisky Shop are thrilled to announce an evening of sharing stories about Food Whisky and Life with author Ghillie Basan, and whisky!
Inspired by Scotland’s fantastic produce, wild food and whisky, Food Whisky Life offers mouth-watering recipes; infused with Ghillie's vast knowledge of spices and food pairings with whisky. The book is also a testament to the strength of the human spirit, a celebration of culinary diversity, and an invitation to experience food, whisky, and life with all the senses.
In it, Ghillie writes honestly, from the heart, to paint an inspirational picture of family life and what it takes to grow a successful hospitality business in one of the wildest and most beautiful corners of Scotland.
This event is being hosted at Wee Whisky Shop and guests will be offered a small selection of drams chosen to highlight particular aspects of the book, including Caol Ila to finish.
