About the event

POWER FRIDAY: Faculty Books Showcase

Our first Power Friday for 2025-2026 will be a special book showcase for the 14 books authored by 12 of our College of Education faculty in 2024 and 2025.

The event will feature:

Brief presentation by each faculty author providing an overview of their book
Panel of COE faculty booth authors with audience Q&A to discuss the book publishing process and tips
Presentation by Cristina Farmus on the support and resources available through Purdue’s Book Initiative
Drawing for free copies of new COE faculty books
Lunch and Reception
