2025 Summer Nature Journaling at Prophetstown State Park-August

1pm-3pm Nature Journaling Spring Series

Join us for Nature Journaling at Prophetstown SP! This series is for beginners and taught by beginners! In each class, we’ll offer a lesson on a natural topic or artistic skill followed by time to journal. Our journaling series will encourage thoughtful observation and in-depth exploration. Each class will focus on a different topic:

• August 10th- Grasses

Attendance to 3 classes included in the cost. Pay for attendance through the DNR Calendar ( https://events.in.gov/event/2025-nature-journaling-summer-series-prophetstown-state-park). Register for the sessions you will attend individually through EventBrite. Costs are detailed below:

• $31 per person, covers 3 classes, with journaling kit provided.

• $15 per person, covers 3 classes, no journaling kit provided.

This series is for ages 15 and up. Payment due at time of registration through DNR Calendar ( https://events.in.gov/event/2025-nature-journaling-summer-series-prophetstown-state-park). Scholarships available if costs are prohibitive.

Registration instructions- through the DNR calendar ( https://events.in.gov/event/2025-nature-journaling-summer-series-prophetstown-state-park), select one date of the three listed for the summer series. Select if you'd like us to provide a journaling kit ($31) or you'd like to supply your own ($15). This fee only needs to be paid ONCE and covers attendance to three nature journaling sessions. Three nature journaling classes are offered each season in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Once you have paid your fee, follow the link to EventBrite to register for the individual nature journaling sessions you will attend.
