Prices on spices are outta sight! Learn how to plant your favorites herbs in containers. Work with a friend(s). You plant some. They plant some. Use them fresh and then share in the harvest. Plant them in a few containers. Then dehydrate/dry them, and grind them up to fill your empty spice jars. I can almost smell them now...basil...thyme...rosemary...oregano, etc. Ka-ching! If you love Salsa, plan ahead. Plant bell peppers and tomatoes so you have them fresh to make your delicious salsa. You don't need a lot of space to plant some of these things.
