Elk Shoals River Clean Up

Please register for our New River Clean Up from Blue Ridge Manor to Elk Shoals on Sunday September 14th.

Meet at Elk Shoals New River State Park, 349 Methodist Camp Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694 at 9:00 AM.

Fall into the New this September and help clean up America’s Oldest River. Bring your own boat or borrow one of ours and prepare to have an unforgettable experience on the water.

The New River Conservancy will supply canoes, PFD’s, and shuttle with additional support from Keep Ashe Beautiful, NC State Parks, and NC Wild Life Federation.

Dress to get wet and dirty and bring plenty of water. Wear protective shoes and bring anything else you need to be comfortable while we are working!

Upon completion of registration you will be contacted by New River Conservancy Clean Up Coordinator Will Sowards with further information.
