About the event

HBCU (B)LACMA Takeover 2025 (Part 1)
It's that time of the year for the HBCU takeover at (B)LACMA! Calling all friends & families of HBCU alumni to come out Friday, June 6th for an evening of jazz and fellowship. Bring a blanket, bring a friend, and bring food & beverages.

Note: Review the museum's policy on alcohol at outdoor events before you attend.

Please arrive early and wear some sort of paraphernalia so that we can easily spot each other in the crowd. Also, Invite all HBCU alumni and friends that you know.

This is a family-friendly event and as the sun sets it will get cool so dress warmly for the change in temp.

So let's have a big turn out and Celebrate Black Excellence with our LA HBCU family. We look forward to seeing you there!
