The West Fargo Police Department is set to hold the annual Night to Unite event 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at South Elmwood Park (535 13th Avenue W.) in West Fargo.
This yearly event brings community members together to have fun while learning about the different public safety agencies in the metro. The event will fill South Elmwood Park with demonstrations, food trucks, activities for all ages, informational booths and more.
“Our team looks forward to Night to Unite each year,” said Pete Nielsen, Chief of Police. “This annual community event has become a great tradition in our community, offering residents the opportunity to interact with our officers in a relaxed and informal setting.”
This year’s schedule includes a demonstration from the West Fargo Police Department’s K-9 Unit. Other activities include a live DJ, activities, and meet and greets with local law enforcement. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.
Attendees will receive a bingo card to complete activities throughout the event. Once completed, the bingo cards can be turned in to be entered into prize drawings.
This year’s Vitalant blood drive will take place from 1 – 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the City of West Fargo’s City Hall location (2515 6th Street E.).To sign up for the Vitalant Blood Drive, visit:
