The CARE Group and Pinnacle Family Services are hosting our friend Stephen with Learn 2 Save a Life NC every first Tuesday of the month from 9am-1pm for CPR and First Aid Certifications. Classes include Adult Child and Infant CPR and AED, as well as External Bleeding and first aid for common Medical conditions. The Cost of the Class is $50 per student which includes a 2-year certification and student reference book.

Did you know that it can take EMS providers anywhere between 4-10 minutes average to arrive at an emergency, and that's after the time it took you to call them.
Did you know in general, the brain can survive without oxygen for approximately 4-6 minutes. However, after this time, irreversible brain damage is likely to occur.
If the heart is restarted within this time frame, there is a chance that the brain may recover. However, if the heart remains stopped for longer, the likelihood of brain death increases significantly as does death.
