Join us for an evening of board games with trans and gender diverse people and our loving allies 🏳️⚧️
Meeple and Mug is a board game cafe with a library of board games ready for us to play together! Friday nights are their LGBTQIA+ nights, where game play is free with any purchase of food, drink, or any of the board games they have for sale. For more information on Meeple and Mug, check out their website here:

📌Place: Meeple and Mug - 63 Hardgrave Road, West End, QLD
📅Date: Friday, 6 March
🕜Time: 6pm - 10pm
We have booked a table close to the door and board game library, so keep an eye out for us as you walk in. We will probably splinter into a few different groups to play different games, but some of us will stay at the main table to meet you as you enter.
Meeple and Mug has two levels, with the board game library and front counter on street level and wheel chair accessible. Unfortunately the gender neutral bathrooms are down a relatively steep flight of stairs in the bottom level of the venue.
If you’re driving, there’s some street parking available.
If you’re catching public transport, the closest option is Hardgrave Rd at Rialto, stop 10, which is a short walk from Meeple and Mug. You can get there on the 199 bus routes.
If you have recently been ill or exposed to someone who is ill, we kindly ask that you wear a mask. If you are currently ill, although we will miss you, please stay home this time to protect the vulnerable members of our community.
Our meeting takes place on the lands of the Turrbul and Jagera people. We are grateful for their generations of care, and always remember that this has been a place of community and joy for thousands of years. No treaty has been signed, and sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
