Summer Sundays are back for their fourth season! Join us every Sunday evening this summer at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater as it comes alive with free live music from talented local artists. From 6 to 8 pm, a different band will take the stage each week to get your toes tapping and your hands clapping.
Each concert also features a rotating lineup of food trucks offering delicious meals and treats to complement the music and make your evening even more enjoyable. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 pm, so come early, grab dinner, and settle in for a great night of entertainment.
Taking the stage this week is Joshua Sinclair, a solo artist known for creating a full-band sound using just a guitar, microphone, and loop pedal. Described as “Eric Church meets Ed Sheeran,” he performs original songs from his 17 albums alongside unique spins on popular covers. Voted one of Iowa’s top three musicians by Cityview in 2024, Sinclair has landed over 30 songs in film and TV and plays more than 200 shows a year. He’s currently touring in support of his latest album, White Trash Recipes, released in late 2024.
Dinner this week is served by Tacos Way, offering a flavorful lineup that includes birria, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, super fries, and elote. Their menu brings bold, authentic tastes perfect for a satisfying meal. For dessert, Street Sweets offers Picket Fence ice cream along with a rotating selection of homemade treats. From rich brownies and crème brûlée to apple pie cookies and an array of handcrafted cheesecakes, there’s something to delight every dessert lover.
