Mark Twain & Jane Austen with Historian, Kathy Wilson

Local Iowa Historian, Kathy Wilson, is a frequent guest of the Iowa Region of JASNA and we are excited to partner with the West Des Moines Public Library and have her back again in 2025. Kathy’s presentations are always well researched and fascinating. This year Dr. Wilson will be giving us a talk on the connection between Jane Austen and Mark Twain, an author who was quite vocal and brutal in his apparent dislike for Austen's work.
