Iowa Files: Hoyt Sherman's Enduring Legacy

Influential. Trusted. A pioneer in every sense of the word. Hoyt Sherman came to Fort Des Moines in 1848 and was instrumental in many spheres, including law, real estate and insurance. His magnificent home is now a museum and performing arts center, and the surrounding neighborhood bears his name.

Robert Warren, Hoyt Sherman Place CEO, will share stories of Hoyt and Sarah Sherman's amazing lives, and how their legacy lives on today.
