About the event

How to Research When You’re Writing Nonfiction
Please join us in welcoming author Linda Betsinger McCann! She has written several books about Iowa history, including Prisoners of War in Iowa; Prohibition in Iowa; several books about the Civilian Conservation Corps in different areas of Iowa; and The Vanished Towns of the Cedar Valley series.

If you have ever heard her speak at the library, you know Linda has in-depth knowledge about many topics. Tonight, come learn about how Linda researches these topics and finds so much interesting information! She will have handouts for attendees that list some of the sites she uses for her research.
