Jesus, Buddha, and the Shared Ground of Contemplation

According to scholar of world religions Huston Smith, Jesus and the Buddha were the only two individuals in history who caused people to ask "What are you?" rather than "Who are you?" In this retreat, we will practice contemplative living and explore how the religions that developed from the teachings of these two spiritual giants can enrich one another-all while we enjoy the autumn leaves and the many offerings of the retreat center.
