Poetry of Faith: Lives of Expansiveness and Resilience

Faith is at the heart of the spiritual journey, giving it direction and purpose. Poetry is sacred writing and can deepen our faith. Inherent in all poetry is the sacred task of seeking, noticing, being mindful, and knowing ourselves as "loved sinner saints."

Come for a time of listening with the ears of the heart and writing with the souls of your fingers. We'll find inspiration in the works of poets like George Herbert, John Donne, Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, Evelyn Underhill and Anne Sexton.
