Discover Sailing at Geographe Bay Yacht Club – Free Event!
Have you ever wanted to try sailing? Now’s your chance! The Geographe Bay Yacht Club is hosting a Discover Sailing Day on Saturday 4 October 2025, from 10am to 12pm, open to adults and children aged six and over.
No experience or boat ownership is needed – boats will be provided, and life jackets. This is a great opportunity to explore sailing in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment.
Event Details:
When: Saturday 4 October 2025 | 10am – 12pm
Where: Geographe Bay Yacht Club
What to Bring: Hat, sunscreen, water bottle, towel, lunch, and a change of clothes
Prerequisite: Water confident
It's Free but you must register the person who wishes to try sailing including all children.

The day is a chance to try sailing and learn about opportunities to continue developing skills through GBYC’s programs, including the Learn to Sail program, starting shortly after this event.
