Looking for a new summer hobby that won’t leave you sunburned, bug-bitten, or socially starved?
Join us Tuesday nights at Shepherds on Schlinger in West Allis for the American Poolplayers Association's beginner-friendly, amateur pool league — featuring a Double Jeopardy format (that’s fancy pool talk for playing 8-ball and 9-ball in one night!).
Whether you're a total rookie who thinks “English” only belongs in school, or a seasoned shooter who knows their way around the felt — this league is for you.
Summer session starts the first week of June
League starts at 7 PM sharp, but many players show up early to practice, laugh, and learn
Shepherds on Schlinger – West Allis, WI
We’re especially looking for:
New players looking to learn a new skill, have fun, and meet great people
Experienced players who are willing to help mentor the next wave of pool hustlers (without making them cry)
Curious how the Double Jeopardy format works? Come watch a match or two — we promise it's way less confusing than it sounds (and there's beer).
Perks include:
Cold drinks served by your friendly neighborhood bartenders
Bring your own snacks or dinner (yes, really)
Glorious air conditioning, bug-free competition, and zero risk of sun poisoning
