We are excited to invite you to a special event, Whāngai i te Hautapu, presented by Pae Wānanga and Wānanga Matariki. This gathering is a beautiful opportunity for us to come together in unity to welcome Matariki and reflect on what the year will bring for us.

**📅 Date:** 21st June
**🕒 Time:** 5:00 AM (Please gather at the top of the 100 steps at Traganina Park)
**📍 Location:** Traganina Park, Altona

During this ceremony, we will honor our loved ones who have recently passed by sending our mate to Te Waka ō Rangi.
Also sending our hopes and aspirations to Hiwa ✨

Warm kai will be provided, allowing us to share a meal together as we celebrate this significant occasion.
This is a FREE event!

Bring your whānau and friends, and let’s make this a meaningful event for all! Together, we can strengthen our community ties and embrace our heritage as we welcome Matariki.
