Cardiovascular (EKG) Technician Training

Prepare to take the Certified EKG Technician Exam! RCC's upcoming Cardiovascular (EKG) Technician classes are May 5-July 21, or Sept. 22-Dec. 8.

Class meets from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on campus, and there is online coursework as well.

This course will teach you how to become a certified EKG (ECG) Technician. You'll learn about the heart and how it works. You'll also learn how to use EKG machines to check heartbeats and spot different heart problems. You'll learn how to use equipment, read results, and understand 22 different heart patterns. You'll also learn a bit about capnography, which helps understand how the heart and lungs work together.

Course cost is $194 plus other costs, but ask about a scholarship.
