Fish and Chip Train

Take a journey through beautiful Mid Wales in the early evening complete with a Fish & Chips supper served at the halfway point of your journey.

The Journey
Our Fish and Chips special takes a 16-mile return through Welsh countryside, lasting approximately two-and-a-quarter hours.

Departing Llanfair Caereinion station (SY21 0SF) at 18:15, our vintage train transports you on the 8-mile journey to Welshpool, arriving at 19:00 where your meal from Andrews Fish Bar will be served on the platform.

Pausing for Food
Hot and soft drinks will be available to purchase from our Welshpool Station Shop before the return journey, arriving back in Llanfair shortly before sunset at 20:30.

Ticket price includes:
– Two Hour Steam Train Journey.
– Fish & Chips, Sausage & Chips or Vegetarian Burger & Chips Meal.
– Bottle of flavoured or plain Water.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate gluten-free meals on this train.
