Join Woodtek Engineering and Shropshire Council for an exclusive open day to explore the future of sustainable technology.
Visitors will see the Biodynamic Carbon C1000 biochar unit, capable of producing over 800 tonnes of biochar per year (equivalent to over 2000 tCO2e) while generating up to 1.2mWh of renewable heat.
Biodyanmic Carbon is a joint venture between Woodtek Engineering and Shropshire Council. It is located at Woodtek's HQ where the C1000s are manufactured, it is also the site of Carbon Hill farm.
Discover how biochar cleans water through a biochar filter, turning farm run-off into the local coldwater swimming hotspot.
Visit the biochar field trials, showing improved yields, enhanced drought resilience and leading soil microbiology.
Learn how the C1000 manufacturing hub combines high-tech engineering with local suppliers in the heart of the marches.
Explore feedstock processing systems including shredders, trommels, screeners and driers.
Finally, see how woodland management, tree protection and new planting deliver future feedstock, biodiversity gains and long-term sustainability.
