Potting Native Shrub Seedlings for Habitat Enhancement

Greetings Volunteers!
Join us for the annual potting of native shrub seedlings at the Refuge's greenhouse in Wells! Come for one day or both! "Many hands make light work!"
Learn about growing container stock, and contribute to the promotion of our native wildlife. These plants will be utilized for focal species, specifically New England Cottontail, and enhancing their habitat. All information regarding the event is below:
What: Potting 1,500 native shrub seedlings
Where: 429 Post Road in Wells, ME
When: April 23 (12-4pm); April 24 (9am–3 pm)

Participants should bring water and wear weather appropriate clothing. Garden gloves are recommended but can be provided if need be.
