During the holidays, join us at the Cathedral for creative family fun! With arts, crafts and other activities inspired by the Cathedral or by visiting exhibitions, our holiday activities are designed to help children discover and get creative.
This February, marvel at the medieval masterpieces of Wells Cathedral, discover the people and stories that made them, then make your very own souvenirs to take home!

Tuesday 17 February
Find signatures in stone left by the Cathedral builders, then design and carve your own maker’s mark in soap.
Stories in Stitches
Wednesday 18 February
Discover the stories behind brilliant embroideries and altar frontals then stitch your own story or create a collage.
Wondrous Windows
Thursday 19 February
Explore the Cathedral’s beautiful windows then try out stained glass themed crafts.
Admission included with entry. No need to book – simply drop in on the day!
Standard adult admission tickets include re-entry for 12 months from date of purchase, so you can enjoy access to a number of seasonal events, including exhibitions and Half Term Holiday Activities beyond your initial visit. Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and only assistance dogs are allowed at these activities.
